Genre: Survival Horor. Fatal Frame III: The Tormented – a game in the genre of survival horror. The game is the third in a series of games with the same name. The main heroine of the game is a girl, Ray Kurosawa, a 23-year-old freelance photographer.

Making pictures in a supposedly haunted mansion, Ray notes that the image of her husband, who died in a car accident, manifests itself in the photo. After that incident, Ray begins to see strange recurring dreams, which sees her husband. One day he woke up after one of these dreams, she sees a mysterious tattoo, which slowly appear on different parts of her body.

Ray will be accompanied by Kay Amacuro (Uncle Miao), a friend of her ex-fiance, as well as Mick Hinasaki; and Mayu Amacuro of Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly. The main heroine of Project Zero, is now an assistant Ray. Myo itself also appears in some episodes of the game.
